YouTube TV OTT Services Arrive On Apple TV

After making its debut on Roku, the OTT streaming service from Google called YouTube TV has finally arrived on the tvOS platform. The app is now available for the Apple TV users who can download it from the App Store. The YouTube TV app is supported on the fourth generation Apple TV and Apple TV 4K. The app was previously available on iPhone and iPad, so the users had to use the AirPlay feature to watch the content on television screen.
The video streaming giant (YouTube) revealed the news through a tweet on thursday. However, the YouTube TV services are limited to the United States as of now but the expansion is on its way.

About YouTube TV
YouTube TV is an OTT streaming service brought to you by Google. It was launched on 28th February 2017 and is currently available in over 60 metropolitan areas in the US. If you reside in one of these regions, you can subscribe to the YouTube TV services at $35 per month. The users can also avail a free trial for one month. YouTube TV offers services similar to Netflix, HBO Go, Hulu Plus and Amazon Prime Video. Apart from the movies and TV shows, it also features 40+ US-based live TV channels including local sports and news networks.
Some of the channels that are included in the subscription pack are Fox News, CBS, AMC, Disney Channel, ESPN and Bravo. You can also add other channels like Showtime, Shudder, Sundance and Fox Soccer Plus at an add-on fee. You can add these channels at an additional monthly charge.

How To Watch YouTube TV?
The YouTube TV app is compatible with Android and iOS platforms. So you can access it on a plethora of Android and iOS powered smartphones. Lately, Google has also rendered support for Roku OS 7.5 and tvOS 11 for Apple TV. All you have to do is download the app from your native App Store (or Playstore), subscribe to the services and start using the app right away. YouTube TV app is available on Android Playstore which also makes it compatible with Android TV.
