Big Data is going to continue to rise in 2018. The level of recuritment for this sector is very high as per its popularity. What BIG DATA technology actually is - Big Data describes large volume of structured and unstructured data that covers a business on a day to day basis. Here amount of data is not so much important rather what organization will do with that data matters. The importance of BIG DATA is "what will be done with data" . BIG DATA can be taken from any resources and used to do -

2.The Internet of Things
The concept of the Internet of things (IoT) became popular in 1999, through the Auto-ID Center at MIT. The IoT is the connection of devices to the Internet."things" is as an "inextricable mixture of hardware, software, data and service". Cars, kitchen appliances etc can all be connected through the IoT. IoT is set to enhance our homes, places of work, cars and leisure lives.And as the Internet of Things is growing year by year, more devices will join this list. IoT devices can be any internet-connected device that can be controlled and montiored from a remote location. One IoT device connects to another device to trannsfer information using Internet transfer protocols. IoT platforms acts as a bridge between the devices' sensors and the data networks. Some of the IoT platforms are : Amazon Web Services, Oracle Integrated Cloud, Microsoft Azure
