BodyPassport is an innovative mobile application that combines OpenCV and Unity technologies to provide a unique user experience. Using OpenCV's parameters, the app creates realistic 3D models that serve as a digital representation of the user. With this digital avatar, users can explore and try on different sporting articles to get a virtual sense of how they will look in real life. BodyPassport revolutionizes the way users shop for sporting goods, allowing them to make informed decisions and visualize their desired products before making a purchase. Whether it's trying on running shoes, cycling gear, or workout apparel, BodyPassport offers a virtual fitting room experience that enhances convenience and customer satisfaction.  

Scope of Work

Our goal for the BodyPassport project was to enhance the user adoption and performance of their mobile application by developing an Android and iOS app. To achieve this, we focused on addressing several key challenges. Firstly, we created a wardrobe system that allows users to easily change clothing options within the app. Additionally, we implemented a feature to capture photos and extract body measurements from them, enabling the creation of a personalized avatar based on these measurements. Finally, we developed a flow to accurately determine the user's skin tone for a more realistic and immersive experience. 
 

Our Solution

Through our comprehensive solution, BodyPassport aims to revolutionize the way users shop for sporting goods by providing a virtual fitting room experience that enhances convenience and customer satisfaction. Our team utilized Unity, Python, PHP, and WordPress technologies to overcome the project's challenges and deliver the desired features and functionalities. Our solution for the BodyPassport project involved the following services and technologies:

  • Developed a mobile application using the Unity engine to provide users with a seamless and immersive experience.
  • Implemented a feature that allows users to change clothing options within the app, providing a virtual dressing room experience.
  • Created a feature to capture photos and extract body measurements using OpenCV and OpenPose technologies. 
  • Developed a flow to accurately determine the user's skin tone, enhancing the realism of the virtual fitting experience.
