UAM TV is a powerful video streaming application designed to address the gap that exists for numerous audiovisual projects that often go unnoticed within the market's confines. UAM TV aims to provide an immersive and enriching entertainment experience for its users across various devices sourced from prestigious global festivals, as well as scientific, philosophical, and medical insights.  The project's objective is to develop a mobile application that enables users to stream live shows and movies on their iPhone, iPad, and AppleTV devices.    

Scope of Work

The goal of this project involved developing a fully functional mobile app for Android, iOS, and tvOS devices. Our primary goal was to provide the client with a versatile app that offers a seamless streaming experience and an array of captivating content. By utilizing native technologies such as Java for Android and Swift for iOS/tvOS, we aimed to deliver a comprehensive mobile application that allows users to stream live shows and movies on their iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV devices. 

 

Our Solution

Our team utilized a combination of technologies to build a fully functional and feature-rich application that met the client's requirements. And created a visually appealing and user-friendly interface for the application, ensuring a seamless navigation experience. Implemented secure token-based authentication to safeguard user data and enhance the app's security.

  • Enabled users to resume watching shows from where they left off, providing a seamless viewing experience.
  •  Integrated the ability to cast content from the application to a TV using Chromecast, expanding the viewing options for users.
  •  Developed a QR code-based login functionality specifically for Apple TV, simplifying the authentication process for users.
  •  Integrated Stripe payment gateway
  • Implemented push notifications to provide users with timely updates
