Create Blockchain Network, Nonce Value, Hash Using Hash Function

Objective: This document is to demonstrate the working of Blockchain. Tools required: Ubuntu, web browser |
Steps to be followed:

Create blocks of an existing peer
-
Create another peer and a block for this new peer
-
Connect the newly created peer with the existing peer
Step 1: Create blocks of an existing peer

Open the browser in your lab and navigate to https://blockchaindemo.io/

Note: Notice the existing peers under PEERS sections

Enter some data in the Data field, and click Add New Block

Note: Notice that it will create a new block just after the Genesis Block for the existing peer.
Step 2: Create another peer and a block for this new peer

Click on the Add Peer button to add a new peer

Click on the newly created peer to add a new block

Enter some data in the Data field and click Add New Block to add new blocks to this new peer
Step 3: Connect the newly created peer with the existing peer
3.1 Connect the newly created peer by clicking on the Connect symbol

Note: Similarly, add more peers and blocks to create a Blockchain network.
Generate a Nonce Value
Objective: To generate a nonce value.
Tools required: Ubuntu, Web browser |

1.1 Visit https://andersbrownworth.com/blockchain/block
1.2 Enter some text in Data field and click on Mine
1.3 The new value is generated for the Nonce field
Generate Hash Using Hash Function
Objective: To generate the hash for a message using the hash function.
Tools required: Ubuntu, Web browser |

1.1 Visit https://andersbrownworth.com/blockchain/hash
1.2 Enter the plain text in the Data field and it will generate the hash of that message
