How Software Are Developed Using V and V Model

V- model or V & V:-

• In this type of model, each and every phases is going to be tested to check wheather the product is working according to the customer requirements or not.
• In v- model the company get the requirements form client side, according to that the design get develop as the design get tested, then the functionality of the product also tested by the tester fo the company.

a) Funtionality Testing.

b) Integration Testing.

c) System Testing.

• Now the acceptance testing done from the client side, to understand the product.
• In case acceptance test engineer found any issues i.e going to report it to the developer of the company.
• Also improve or change  the test cases of:

a) Funtional cases.

b) Integration cases.

c) System cases.

d) Acceptance cases.

V & V means i.e Verification and Validation.

• Verification:- Are the developer's developing the right product or not.
• Validation:- To check that Build product is according to client or not.
• Firstly verification is done when the product is right than validation is done.

Advantages:-

• Deliverable are parallel as each and every phase are tested.
• Following V- model will give us a high quality product.
• Total investment is less.
• Avoid downward flow of defect.
• The procedure or design is effective to understand.
• Increases the use of defect tracking tools, to avoid bugs in a product, software or application.

Disadvantages:- 

• Initial investment is more, as the company is going to pay both developer and tester at the same time.
• V-model is least flexible.
• The v-model is complex to understand.
• In case any of the functionality added from the client side, than the testers need to do regression testing of whole software, product or application along with its test cases.

Application:- 

• Can be apply on large and complex project.
• Whenever the customer needs the project in less time.
