Hi, Guys Here I am discussed with Postman Client APIs with how to use collection feature and how its beneficial for manage APIs request as a group.
In this blog, I will discuss how to use the collection in Postman and how to hit APIs through the client to the server. First, we know what is Postman?
Postman is a famous API customer that makes it simple for engineers to share, create, test and documentation APIs. This is finished by enabling clients to make and spare and straightforward complex HTTP/s requests, and also read their response. The outcome - more effective and less repetitive work. The postman has many method requests like - POST, GET, PUT, DELETE, HEAD and many more.
The collection has basically put a request into a group and we can use it publicly or team specifically. Before handle collection, you have the account on Postman otherwise you will be facing difficulties in updating collection after your session over. The collection was shown on the left side in the top of the menu bar and you can also create the collection by clicking the folder icon. When we create collection its shows in left side list bar with also shown how many request save (hit APIs) this collection.
For example set of APIs request which hit from Postman APIs and saves into one folder (call collection). The goal for collection is that when we like to manage the history of some APIs request and we know about how many time the APIs request hit from client to server.
First I create one Collection in Postman:
Here I have one APIs to hit and it saves into the individual collection. We can save it request multiple time in this collection.
For
This APIs search information about country wise and after the search, we can save it many times in collection.
We can also import collection like upload files, paste raw text, download from the link and drag & drop request to the collection. we can also edit the particular collection
