What is Pilot Testing?

Pilot testing is a type of testing where some group of end users which will be going to use our application in the future. This group of end users is reviewing the product with doing testing before launch the on the production server. These specific people install the application and doing testing and check any bug which may be left by the tester. This testing is also the last step of the testing part.

In this testing, the group of end users tests the major functionality of the application. It helps to find bugs before going to production. End users use that application for regular basis and try to find out any weak area of that application. After completing the test by the End user's group, if they found any bug in the system sent back to the development team as the bug report. The developer will send a build with the fixed bug.
