Amazon Launches Echo Show With Touchscreen and Video Calls

Amazon has officially announced its latest product comprised of camera and touchscreen with built in Alexa called Echo Show. It also comes with a microphone technology. The only difference between the show and previous echo is that it comes with eight microphones instead of seven microphones. It is available in two colors that are white and black and weighs around 1.1 kilos. It has seven inches screen with five-megapixel front camera and speakers.

Alexa operating system is very popular among Amazon and Amazon prime users. The Echo Show can be connected to Wi-Fi enabled security cameras. Still, it won't replace your mobile phones! Amazon is also launching a new feature called Drop-In, which lets your friends and family call you at anytime. It gives you 10 second time to either pick a call or to reject a call. The Echo show takes an IRL turn.It has same features as the regular device, but the built-in display create the whole difference. It lets you check your video feed using commands. Another interesting feature is that Echo Show lets you take video calls, It looks quite similar to other video conference devices. Alexa calling will work on other Echo devices. It will be available for u.s customers first.

The Echo show gives the user information about Alexa queries and brings everything you love about Alexa. You can see lyrics of any song, recipes, full weather forecast report, shopping list, to-do list, and more. You can even watch news briefings, Amazon video, and YouTube. Echo has some enhanced features as that of the previous one. It lets you see the lyrics on the whole screen for Amazon Music. The Echo Show works well with company’s services. It can pull out pictures stored on Prime photos and will then be displayed on the screen.

Currently, there is an offer going on, where you can buy two for $360. You can pre-order this product on Amazon which will cost you around $229.99. It will be available on June 28.  Amazon says it imagines this feature will only be used in a small number of scenarios — like checking in on an elderly relative. The new Show will start shipping to customers on June 28th, and Amazon is currently running a promotion where customers can buy two for $360.
