Design And Color

No doubt, Apple has given an absolutely stunning look and an impeccable finishing to the new iPhone 7. They call it the best iPhone they have ever created so far. The design is perhaps quite similar to its predecessor (iPhone 6s and 6s Plus) but it is much more shiny and will be available in two new colors. Apart from the standard colors including silver, gold and rose gold, the iPhone 7 boasts two new colors i.e. Black and Jet Black. And for the first time in history Apple has built something which is utterly resistant to dust and water. The iPhone 7 implements the IP67 protection standard which prevents it from serious damage in case you drop it in a pool or a bucket full of water.

Also from now on, you won’t be pressing the home button. Instead, you’d be tapping over it just like the trackpads in Macbook. A taptic chip has been exclusively embedded inside the bottom of the screen for this purpose.

Camera

This is perhaps the finest upgrade in iPhone which is definitely going to revamp the photography experiences. Apple claims that the photos taken by iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will be very much comparable to the DSLR cameras. Well, we’d rather not comment on it just yet unless we use the camera but yes, the camera will be far better than that of iPhone 6s. Both iPhone 7 models will have optical image stabilization. The optical image stabilization not only reduces the blur caused due to motion, it thwarts even the tiniest bit of movements, thereby providing up to 3x longer exposure than the iPhone 6s. The iPhone 7 camera will also have f/1.8 aperture and six element lens so that the camera quality won’t be affected in low light. Owing to the larger aperture size, the camera sensor catches 50% more light which in turn makes it possible to take super bright shots even in low light.

It was about the camera. Now let’s come to the fash. iPhone 7 camera employs a Quad LED True Tone Flash which means it will be using four LEDs to produce a 50% brighter flash than iPhone 6s. Besides, the flash automatically adjusts according to the light conditions of the surroundings. Both iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will have 12 MP rear camera and 7 MP front which used to be 5 MP in iPhone 6s. But wait there’s more. You might be wondering “what about the rumors of iPhone 7 having a dual lens camera?” Well, the rumors were absolutely true. Not iPhone 7 but iPhone 7 Plus will have a dual lens camera and it’s official.

The iPhone 7 Plus will have two 12 MP rear cameras, one for the wide angle view and the other one for the telephonic view. While one camera will handle the 1x zoom the other one will be responsible for the 2x zoom. And the combination of two cameras will help in producing marvelous pictures of people and places even with the 10x zoom for that matter. So if you love photography then iPhone 7 Plus is something you just don’t want to miss!

Display And Audio

The new iPhone 7 provides a magnificent display. The famous retina HD display is now more brighter than ever before with the cinema standard colors and an impeccable color management owing to the wide color gamut and incredibly high resolution. The iPhone 7 will have a 4.7” wide screen and 1334x750 resolution. On contrary to this, iPhone 7 Plus will have 5.5” screen and 1920x1080 resolution. As you see, the screen size hasn’t been changed but the resolution just got better. And not to forget, the 3D touch has also been improved. You can now feel each and every tap while using your iPhone.

Now let’s talk about the audio. iPhone 7 boasts a new and powerful stereo speaker system which is two times louder than the iPhone 6s. Also, say goodbye to the stodgy headphone jacks. iPhone won’t be having them anymore. Instead, the earpods will now be connected via the all new Lightning Port which has been introduced in iPhone for the first time. The earpods will now have a lightning connector instead of the obsolete analog connector. But don’t worry. Apple is also going to provide a lightning to analog converter by which you can easily connect the analog cable. The converter will be included in every box along with the other accessories.

Enhanced Performance And Processing Power

When it comes to performance, iPhone 7 is far more powerful, efficient, faster and possesses a much longer battery life. To make it the most powerful iOS smartphone, Apple has introduced A10 Fusion Chip which makes it 2 times faster than the iPhone 6s in terms of processing speed and 3 times faster in terms of graphics speed. The A10 chip has a quad core CPU. The first two cores for high performance and the other two for high efficiency. Each performance core is 40 times more powerful than those of the A9 chip and the efficiency cores give you 2 more hours of battery life than iPhone 6.

This was all about iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Both will be available for preorder from September 9 and will arrive in market on September 16. Unlike the iPhone 6s which starts from 16GB model, the iPhone 7 will be starting from 32GB. It will be available in three variants based on storage space i.e. 32GB, 128GB and 256GB. Apple has also announced the price which will be starting from $649 onwards for iPhone 7 and $779 for iPhone 7 Plus.
