Google Assistant Gets a Host of New Features

Google is trying to compete with its competitor, Alexa by introducing the variety of new changes for its Google Assistance. New features which have been added to Google Assistant are new push notifications, language support like Spanish, English, Brazilian, Portuguese and Italian and daily updates. Google even lets the developers make apps using Google Assistant in new languages. The push notification feature is very helpful as it lets the app to send alerts to users. They have added the Explore tab in Google Assistant which has What's New and What’s trending option so that you don't miss any trending topic. Through which the users from Australia, Canada, UK, and the US can discover developers. 

 
Another interesting feature is an addition of an API in the way of a speaker to phone transfer which Google has added for businesses. This lets the action to start on a google home speaker and complete it on the phone. The apps could send all the updates to users on the phone. Google is finding ways to connect the user to other apps. For this, they have added several sub-categories such as Food and Drink under the order Food option. This step is taken to increase the user engagement with personalized apps.

Another interesting feature if “For Families” badge which shows all the family-friendly apps. The Company is trying to make the interface very friendly and easy to use to be on the top of the list of smart speakers. A directory analytics is also added by the company to help developers track how the users are using their app, where are they going and what are they seeing. It even has added the daily subscription feature which will let their users have regular updates.
