One thing is for sure that everyone needs navigation maps at some point in their lives. There are many map apps available out there but Google Maps is definitely everyone's favorite. It is nothing less than a magic for those who know how to use it. This web-based app provides the detailed information about the geographical areas all around the world. It first collects offline data and then uploads it online.
The world’s favorite navigation app has added a new feature to reach more people and also to make it more user-friendly. It’s all updates are always done by keeping the design and usability in mind. Earlier the Google Map was for people who are driving by car, traveling by train or bus and for people who are walking. Now, the new update has added one more category which is for two-wheelers such as bike, scooter, and bicycle. While making this feature, Google’s major focus was in India. As there is still the large population in India who travel on two-wheelers.
This will be shown by a bike icon along with other categories. The bikers mode will be between motor and trucks option. This will help two-wheelers to find the fastest and the shortest route while traveling through the city. This is surely a good news for all the bikers who love to travel a lot. The latest addition two-wheelers mode can be seen with the latest google maps update of Android app (Version 9.67.1) and is not available for ios users yet.
The routes shown for this category will not be applicable for cars or trucks because of the fact that two-wheelers can take narrow route. The major landmarks will be shown on the map and riders can plan accordingly. The company has kept one thing in mind that the route shown for the two-wheelers are faster if not shorter and have succeeded.
