Google Drive update to help switch from iOS to Android

The latest Update to Google Drive App lets iPhone/iPad users switch from iPhone/iPads to Android device way more simpler than ever. Now, you will be having access to your pictures on Google Photos, your contacts in your Contacts App, your marked events in Google Calendar.


A Few Other Important Points To Keep In Mind

 

  • Your device must be connected to Wifi at all the times during the Backing up Process.

 

  • Backing up multiple times will only let you to back up the new photos. Also, previous backups will get overwritten automatically including your contacts and calendar events.

 

  • If pictures have been organized as albums on your device, then those albums will not be backed up.

 

  • Calendar events and contacts on social media like Facebook or Exchange will not be backed up.

 

  • “Backup did not complete” error message might appear on your device screen. Don't worry much about that and try to backup again. This might happen due to internet connectivity issue.
