Why Decentralized Apps are the Future Of Internet

 
Currently, the internet is controlled by just a few players and hence any problem in the connection can prove to be disastrous. The solution to this problem is to create Web 3.0 by crowdsourcing the internet. Unlike centralized applications, decentralized applications (Dapps) will run and stored on computers all over the world. Decentralised application and blockchain could transform the way developers manage the data. 

Blockchain has undoubtedly taken the world by storm in the past year, everyone has at least heard about it if not invested in any cryptocurrency. The blockchain is far more than just bitcoin. To understand the concept of the decentralized app, imagine the system of Person to person (P2P) file sharing, in which you download small pieces of the file from some other person, instead of downloading from the single server. Dapps are open source and do not have central point, they are connecting users and providers, customers and businesses together. These applications are the perfect example of trust and transparency. Blockchain keeps track of all transactions between people and is secured by strong cryptography.

Why are Dapps better than the centralized apps?
Most of the apps we have today are centralized, which means the information is coming from one center and everyone is dependent on that center only. In Dapps, the server model is purely distributed. Dapps are autonomous which means they can be executed after reaching a consensus. They are completely distributed model which means no single authority is executing it. 

Major advantages of Dapps as compared to traditional apps are:

Security
Dapps provide the high level of security in comparison with the traditional apps. The information is with the distributor ledger which means the hacker will have to go through all the connected nodes to get any information. This makes the decentralized apps a lot harder to hack. 

Transparency
Blockchain has all the information about the transaction made hence they are easily verifiable. Each person can the information about the other person’s record and information about the previous transaction. This makes the verification process a lot easier.

Dapps make the internet a secure and reliable place as the distribution of less information in encrypted form makes it difficult to hack. Not only that, Dapps are flexible and completely trustworthy than the traditional apps. Soon, decentralized apps will take place of traditional apps, thus the future of the internet will be decentralized only.
