Therefore, it becomes a challenge for testers to give new members the knowledge of existing facilities and functionalities. Similarly, new examiners are not very comfortable in acquiring knowledge about what happened in the past.
Sometimes the reluctance is the result of the fact that in the current application there are already a lot of modules or subsystems, numerous business rules have been implemented. The second time, the testers who tested the early versions of the application left the team, and as a result, no one in the team can be aware of the detailed, accurate knowledge of initial characteristics and business rules.
Expensive for Business
Another challenge related to regression testing is the depiction of its value for business people. It may be that the business units of the organization see the regression test as an expense for the organization with the value for the business. They can consider the resources and manpower gutters to do this repeated testing, which has already been developed, tested and deployed in the early stages.
Therefore, management software can be reluctant to allocate budget, time and resources to conduct the regression testing activity. Therefore, it can be important to bother the management and regression may justify the demand for every cycle of testing.
Less Time for Regression testing
When testers are asked to perform a regression test, they enjoy the complete testing of the software product. However, the quality assurance team is not given much time to conduct a regression test. Therefore, to ensure this, the quality assurance manager has the wisdom that the test team does not eliminate all the energy on some modules - due to lack of team is missing the test of other modules.
This means that the Quality Assurance Manager needs to prepare an intelligent method for immunization testing to ensure that every required test case has been executed within a limited period.
Easy to Lose Track
As new features and changes are applied to the software product, more tests are added to the case regression test suite. Since the product's functionality has spread, so the testers are overwhelmed by the issues of the Regression Test and they are victims of losing track of test cases, seeing important test cases. Regularly monitoring the regression test suite and preventing obsolete test cases can be prevented. It is also important to avoid any imitation of test cases, otherwise, they will be involved in unnecessary effort and disappointment for the testers.
