Blockstrap API Aims to Transform Blockchain Development
Posted By : Kiran Bisht | 06-Apr-2015
Developed in 2009, blockchain was launched with Bitcoin, and during initial years it was the enclave of only the tech-savvy people. But it’s rapidly increasing price in 2013 brought more and more people into the process and suddenly new businesses begin to appear. These evolutions, however, will in the end require new and developer-friendly interfaces to let many developers get involved and expand their own work to multiple blockchains.

A new open source HTML framework Blockstrap plans to accomplish the same by eliminating the restriction of entry for cryptocurrency app developers, letting them to continuously bitcoin-enable their apps.
Blockstrap employs HTML5 framework along with an integrated API that beforehand supports Dogecoin, Bitcoin, and Litecoin. They are coming up with a concept to add blockchain 2.0 support with a wallet that reinforce metastorage.
Blockstrap isn’t like any other API, instead, it is a stack that employs an HTML5 framework to interact with other APIs. This project is open in public beta which comes with a jQuery plugin and complete suite of JSON-driven, front-end HTML elements.
This complete package allows developers to organize URL routing, dynamic templating, and browser-based data caching, while utilizing just the core elements for framework forms, with a deterministic HTML5 wallet. It lets developers build new web applications by expanding the core via hooks and filters like the very same way that Wordpress is utilized by web developers.
In addition to blockchain 2.0 protocol projects, there are some developer platform companies and projects offering tools to ease the process of blockchain application development. More uniformed API development environments will be needed that involves the many diverse and growing part of the blockchain ecosystem I.e wallet interactions, fileserving, identity confirmations, mobile payments etc.
Blockstrap promises regular updates and enhancements over time and there will soon be sample applications for developers to get ideas from. It’s an absolutely free framework that can be downloaded.
