Amazon Is Developing Alexa Powered AI Smart Glasses

According to a report by Financial Times, Amazon is developing its own smart glasses which looks exactly like any normal spectacles that will let you summon Alexa while wearing them. You can wear it on and take it anywhere you want to. It will get connected to your smartphone and will allow you to talk to Alexa on fridges, lamps using a bone conduction auditory system and also hear Alexa. They are designed with precision to give the comfort to the users. 

These smart glasses are designed just like the Google Glass which will be connected with your smartphone and not use your ears. But unlike Google glass, these smart glass by Amazon are Attractive as the look like spectacles only. Also, these glasses are the basic version of the Apple’s AR specs which will be available to the users very soon. The main of Alexa is to give a tough competition to its competitors such as Siri and Google Assistant. The information about the display on the glass has not revealed yet that whether it will show content or not. 

The All new smart glasses will be launched by the end of this year. Alexa did not want to just create a replica of google glasses, therefore, the screen and camera might not be there. Well, that could be a positive thing in terms of the battery like rather it wanted its users to directly talk to Alexa without using their smartphones. Instead, these glasses would be connected to your smartphones wirelessly.

Earlier, the Amazon’s smart assistant was only limited to the home only but now you can take it to anywhere you want. Along with the smart glasses, the Amazon is also working on the home security camera with Alexa integration. Alexa is available for both Android as well an iPhone users which are embedded inside Amazon’s shopping app.
