It’s been awhile since the first look of Xiaomi’s Mi Box was unveiled and there have been all sorts of rumors regarding the release date of the same. Some people even claim that they have spotted the forthcoming Android TV box labelled for sale at the Walmart. But it is no longer available anywhere for sale. Neither at the Walmart website or the local stores. Xiaomi is most likely to launch its new Mi Box in mid-October this year but there hasn’t been any official statement yet. Not even the price has been revealed. All we know is, it will be available for purchase under $100. So we still have to wait till we have an official statement from the authorities regarding the same.

This further concludes that Walmart might have stocked it a bit too early and removed it as soon as they could. Whatever might be the case, you can no longer find the Mi Box anywhere on the internet or the local stores. The Xiaomi website still labels it in the “Coming Soon” category. But the sudden appearance of Mi Box at Walmart stores somehow explicated the price they are going to offer i.e $69. Xiaomi might reconsider the price before the official launch but at least it gave us a rough idea about the price range.
