The annual Worldwide Developer Conference, 2017 which was held from June 5 to 9, announced that it will bring several new features to iPhones, iPads,  tvOS 11, watchOS 4, and macOS. The main focus of WWDC is usually on software but this time there were several hardware related updates which include iPad Pro tablets, MacBook and iMac line, the all-new iMac Pro, and the HomePod smart speaker. One feature that grabs all the attention of the crowd was iOS 11 with the announcement of Siri language update. iOS brings many new updates which include indoor mapping and many more other features. It will also allow the developers to do more things which even includes task management. With the third part support, developers can integrate their apps with the voice controlled assistant. 
 


According to a survey, Siri is now used on more than 300 million devices. Bringing the translation feature on a site will help millions of users. It will help users to ask Siri how do say an English sentence in a variety of languages such as Chinese, German, Italian, French and Spanish. You can ask Siri to translate it to any one of the five languages. With the launch of Google Assistant and Alexa Voice assistant, the Siri has run into a competition.

The updated and new features of Siri will now be able to send predictive notifications and handle follow up questions and more complex tiered questions. It will let Users will now be able to ask Siri to play music for them on the recently announced Apple HomePod. Proving that no one can beat apple. Siri is becoming more like a human now. Apple is trying to get more neutral and expressive human voice in both male and female intonations. Siri is getting more sensitive. For example, if someone asks you about your location in imessages, Siri will show a pop-up of your current location. iOS also brings an interesting feature which is “Do Not Disturb While Driving”. Based on the data of your digital assistant, Siri will be more predictive about what you need next. This is Know as “on device learning”. This data will be synced across all your data, but you won't have the access to the data. Apart from that, Apple store will get a makeover.
