It is a US based streaming platform to watch live TV on your iOS or Android Mobile and smart TVs, Amazon Fire TV, Roku TV, and LG Samsung Smart TV's along with web app.
Scope of Work
The project goal was to create an application for AppleTv, RokuTv, Firetv & Webapp. We had to ingest 100+ channels in Wowza/flusonic and configure trans-coding in Wowza to make the content available in different formats like 480p, 720p, etc depending on internet speed, and serve it to the customers with DRM protection.
Scope: This architectural description contains all the components of Streamly. It is targeted at an audience devoted to watching tv shows online. The main objective was to ingest the UDP streams coming from the source end into Wowza to transcode it into different formats depending on internet speed and to create endpoint URLs for all platforms Playready, AppleHLS & Widevine. Next, we had to configure DRM with Wowza to encrypt the live content and serve the content to customers via CDN.
