Apple TV will soon receive a major update for the operating system that will have pretty cool, highly demanded features like Picture-in-Picture and ability for multi-user login modes. At the Apple's WWDC (Worldwide Developers Conference), the company will present the next generation operating systems that will support 32-bit apps.

The Picture-in-Picture Mode
Two years ago, Picture-in-Picture mode was launched on iOS 9 which is available on Mac and iPad. According to the report, tvOS 11 will allow people to add multiple IDs. Different members of the house can connect to it. Once they are logged in, they can access their media like playlist, photos. Also, they can see their home screen and all the apps. Multiple users login will be supported by Apple TV with tvOS 11 by connecting their apple ID accounts to the set top box. This way a unique profile would be created for an individual user to enjoy songs on Apple Music, photos and even videos.
Since ios 9.3, apple has experimented with multiple users login, but it is limited to schools only. Switching between the multiple accounts is as simple as changing the channels on television. So, multi-user support to tvOS 11 with features like Picture-in-Picture mode to Apple TVs is nothing new. This feature allows people to watch videos while multitasking in a floating window.
New feature of apple Tv, the Picture-in-Picture mode would work like PIP in iOS 9. It will allow users to simultaneously do other things while watching. It allows you to drag a windowed video in the edge of the display. The window will then become smaller and you can then access the screen. This becomes a useful feature when you want to browse the tvOS for some other app. But it will not let you play two videos at the same time.
But, at this point there are no major details for what apple might feature and have in store for their users. One more assumption is, iOS 11 will support Siri integration in iMessage and iClouds and will allow you to make group video calls in FaceTime. WWDC (Worldwide Developers Conference) will soon put an end to this guessing game and we can soon find out what apple has planned for us. Multi-user support is definitely a good move. Apple is also expected to announce iOS 11, watchOS 4 and MacOS 10.13.
