How To Validate Payments Via Face ID

Before you start using this handy feature, you will have to enable Face ID in your iPhone settings. To do that, follow these steps.

• Launch the Settings app on your iPhone X.

• From the list that appears, select Face ID & Passcode.

• Enter your existing passcode as you are prompted to do so.

• After that, just slide the iTunes & App Store under the Face ID and turn it ‘ON.’

That’s it! Now that the Setting is enabled, you will be asked for the Face ID scan every time you buy something on the App Store. Doing this will also use Face ID for authenticating purchases made through Apple Pay. In the same way, it will also be used for the purchases made on the iTunes Store and the iBooks Store.

Using It For The First Time

As already told, once you have enabled Face ID in the iTunes and App Store settings, you will be asked for the Face ID scan every time you download something from the App Store or make a purchase. So all you have to do is, ‘follow these usual steps.’
