Android Instant Apps

    At Google I/O this year, google introduces a preview of its new project Android Instant Apps, according to google it helps developers to reach more people and help users to access any app seamlessly.

    Due to large file sizes nowadays some users want to use any app but they we unable to install them due to lack of storage in their device, to resolve this google has introduced this project.

    This feature helps user to use an app without even installing the app, user can use any app instantly by tapping any link for any app. User can use the app without installing it and experience its beautiful and fast user interface, great capabilities and high performance.

Key Features:

1) Enjoy apps without installation

         With android instant apps you can enjoy your favourite apps beautiful material designed user interface, their great animations with apps full performance.

2) Accessing app from anywhere

You can access app from anywhere either via google search, any shared link, social media, any deeplinks or even using the NFC. Right now google working with some developers like B&H Photo, BuzzFeed, Park and Pay, etc to make it more successful, google will expand this to all the developers soon. See example below:

3) Google Play Services

    Developers can use the google play services like Firebase, payments, location and identity for their apps so that user can have seamless experience.

4) All android devices running Android 4.1+(API Level 16) or higher can use android instant app with Google Play Services.

5) As a developer you don’t have to create a new app, you just have to upgrade your existing app with instant app features. As per google it’ll take a single day for some developers to convert their existing app with instant app features, since for some it depends on their project structure. When you are done with your upgrade Google play downloads only the part of your app which are required to instantly launch the app without installation.
